Bass player, Musician, journalist and anything else That's fun...
Okay, I know it's not in Cairns, but where else would you have a beach named after you?
Cairns is Paradise. Not literally of course, but it's pretty damn close. I arrived here three years ago, hated it at first, then gradually fell in love with it. Now, I wouldn't leave. I came up here after five years in the UK. I quit my job over there simply because I couldn't stand the wet and the cold. On the day I quit, my boss asked me to stay, asked me what inducement I wanted. I replied: "I want the one thing you can't give me. The weather." But of course it isn't just weather, it's the people. And because of music, I've the best friends anyone could ever wish for. Here are a couple of recent gigs, both at Tanks Arts Centre.
This one's with a friend; Chis Wighton. It was his first gig since a terrible accident.
This one's with another friend, George Davies, and a few mates helping out.
